Every person in this office is working here because they enjoy working with people, and we hope it shows in the personable atmosphere of the office. Although we joke around a bit, we take the patients’ care very seriously. All of the therapists regularly attend continuing education courses to expand our knowledge base and to better treat our patients.

Here is a brief introduction to the staff of San Jose Physical Therapy:

Gustavo Paradiz MS PT is the founder and owner of the clinic. He received his Master’s degree from Brown University. He specializes in spine dysfunctions and manual therapy techniques and frequently attends continuing education courses. His hobbies include painting, basketball, classical piano and Chi Kung.

Kathy Wasowski PT OCS is a nationally board certified orthopedic specialist and works part time at SJPT as well as teaching ‘Sports Massage’, a 3 academic unit class at De Anza College. She has been a physical therapist for 20 years after graduating from UCSF, and has specialized in orthopedics, pregnancy related problems and ergonomics for over 16 years. During her free time, she loves to read, work in the garden and hike.

Elizabeth Martinez is the office manager who tries hard to meet our patient’s needs in the front office. Whether she’s on the phone, typing letters or working on the computers she always tries to greet each patient with a smile knowing that “laughter is the best medicine”. Her time outside the office is spent reading, drawing, singing or spending time with her loved ones.

Nicolas Posa PT graduated from Universidad de Chile and worked in different orthopedic/trauma care settings, including a trauma specialized center. In 2004 he traveled as soigneur for the G-Cross Honda Downhill bike team, caring for some of the most prolific and promising bike racers in the world, including that year’s defending world champion. He shortly thereafter moved to California and has been working at SJPT ever since class="sectiontext". In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family.

Monica Escobar is our co-office manager. Her efficiency and cheerful personality help keep the office running smoothly. She enjoys walking in many different places, especially in parks and in the malls (with some shopping of course), She is also working on her degree in Biology.

Madelline Mejia is our newest employee, a recent medical assistant graduate. She enjoys working with people, and making new friends. Her gentle smile helps our patients feel at home as she assists with general office tasks.
